Ronmor’s ownership consists of two third generation Albertan families who remain active in the direction and leadership of the company.
With of 30+ years of experience in both commercial and residential painting, Dennis worked for the Government of Alberta and several large homebuilders before he joined Ronmor in 2013. Dennis’ building operation portfolio comprises more than 348,000 square feet and includes retail, office, and quasi-industrial properties in Calgary and Okotoks.
Prior to joining Ronmor in 2015, Natashia obtained valuable experience in corporate and regional administration, focused primarily on the residential market. Natashia obtained her Accounting and Payroll Administration Diploma from CDI College in 2010 and is eager to further her education and career with Ronmor as the Operations Administrator.
Jaclyn has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2007. Prior to joining Ronmor in 2015, she worked with both small and large scale privately owned companies as a Lease Administrator, with dealings in land, retail, office and industrial sectors. Jaclyn received a Business Administration Diploma, with a Major in Marketing from SAIT and went on to obtain her Commercial Real Estate License through SREC while gaining experience through a brokerage firm.
Sharmaine entered the commercial real estate industry in 1997 with the Calgary office of an international brokerage firm in before transitioning to Ronmor Developers in 2008. At Ronmor, Sharmaine works directly with the ownership and director-level group for the preparation and dissemination of internal / external communication and client information packages and the design and co-ordination of marketing material. She is also responsible for Ronmor’s corporate website content management and handles day-to-day property management issues. With almost 20 years of professional industry exposure, Sharmaine’s creative and organizational experience is an asset to the Ronmor group.
With more than a decade of experience running his own renovation company, Chris started work in the commercial property maintenance industry in 2007. Before joining Ronmor in 2013, he was the supervisor of operations for a large portfolio of residential properties. He is currently working towards obtaining his 4th class Power Engineer Certificate through SAIT.
Ryan Darragh joined Ronmor in 2005 following his tenure as a member of a retail leasing team at a national commercial brokerage. Ryan has been integral in the acquisition, design, permitting, construction and management of Ronmor’s assets and in doing so has established important relationships with key industry stakeholders. His experiences span the spectrum of retail, industrial, office, and mixed-use projects throughout Western Canada in which he has completed hundreds of lease transactions and helped build over $250 million dollars of commercial real estate. Ryan is a University of Calgary Commerce graduate with a major in Finance, a CCIM Candidate, and a member of both UDI and ICSC organizations. Ryan has a love for sports, travelling and spending time with his two children.
Margarita obtained her Business diploma with a major in Accounting in El Salvador. After moving to Canada in 1989, she has worked in the accounting field for a variety of industries including health care, insurance, and hospitality. Margarita joined Ronmor in 2008 and enjoys teaching her co-workers Spanish!
Cariosa has been involved in commercial construction since 2008 when she started working as a commercial interior designer before transitioning to Project Coordination / Management. Prior to joining Ronmor, she managed projects for owners and general contractors on commercial and industrial sites. Born and raised in Calgary, Cariosa graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design from Mount Royal University and went on to obtain a certificate in Project Management as well as her PMP designation. Cariosa has a passion for sustainable construction and design, and aspires to obtain LEED AP accreditation.
Prior to joining the commercial real estate industry in 2000, Jacquie worked in the energy sector with a leading investment banking brokerage. Since then, Jacquie has worked in public and private real estate companies with most of her experience managing the operations of retail assets within Calgary and surrounding areas. Jacquie holds her RPA designation through BOMA Canada.
Daniel moved to Calgary in 2006 after completing the Business Administration – Accounting Diploma from Cambrian College of Applied Arts & Technology in Sudbury, Ontario. Before joining Ronmor in 2007, Daniel was employed as an account contractor in the oilfield services industry. Daniel also spent close to 10 years working in the forestry sector in Ontario. Daniel is currently pursuing his CGA designation through CGA Alberta, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree through Laurentian University.
Jay has more than 20 years of real estate and construction experience. Before joining Ronmor, he was a surety bond underwriter as well as the financial analyst and development manager with a major residential land developer in Calgary. Jay has extensive experience in valuation work and project financing as well as planning, engineering, and construction management. He is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a major in Finance, possesses an ACSB (Associate in Canadian Surety Bonding) designation, and passed the Level II CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam.
Margaret has been in the real estate industry since 2003, primarily in the office / commercial sector. Prior to joining Ronmor in 2015, Margaret managed tenants and facilities at a global engineering and construction company, where she was a leader in Health & Safety. Originally from Toronto, Margaret transferred to Calgary with BCE Logistics Management for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Margaret attained her degree at the University of Toronto and is now completing her Alberta Property Management License at the Real Estate Council of Alberta.
Perry has more than 20 years of experience in the construction / development industry working with retail, commercial, and industrial portfolios. Prior to joining Ronmor, he managed new builds and renovations for two of Canada’s largest corporations – a major grocery retailer and a multinational quick-service restaurant chain. Perry has overseen all aspects of tenant improvement projects and has extensive knowledge in building engineering, planning, and budgeting, as well as client interface and executing capital plans. He is a two-time SAIT graduate in the disciplines of Business Administration (General Management) and Civil Engineering Technology (Construction Management).
Dave has worked for Ronmor since 2007 when he joined the operations team as a building operator. Prior to Ronmor, he was the head of the maintenance department for Lilydale Inc. where he was in charge of general maintenance for three hatcheries in Calgary and rural Alberta. Dave currently oversees the operations of a 32-building retail/office portfolio.
As a member of Ronmor’s accounting team, Wilson has experience working in several industries including oil & gas and financial management. Before joining Ronmor in 2014, Wilson was employed with an international oil & gas firm and spent six combined years in both Indonesia and Italy. Mamma mia!
Tina started with Ronmor in 2013 with experience in events / facility management and conference centre operations. Prior to joining Ronmor, she managed a 10,000 square foot conference centre in a downtown office building and later worked in marketing and sales. Tina joined Ronmor’s property management department in 2016 and maintains a portfolio of more than 450,000 square feet in Calgary, Saskatoon, and Lethbridge.
Kalen Morton joined Ronmor in the spring of 2017 following his most recent role as a member of the leasing team at a national office REIT. His experience includes leasing roles in office, industrial, and retail portfolios across Western Canada and in his career, to date, he has leased more than 5 million square feet. Kalen is a Mount Royal University graduate with a major in Business. Personal contributions to commercial real estate in Calgary include board participation for NAIOP Calgary from 2009 to 2014, including tenure as Chapter President in 2013. Kalen has a passion for traveling and sports, and loves spending time with his wife and two young children, Finley and Everly.
Ravi has been in the accounting industry since 1997. He obtained his chartered accountant designation in 2002 and has worked in a variety of industries including residential real estate, financial, and manufacturing. Before joining Ronmor in 2005, Ravi was a controller for a downtown Calgary hotel.
Bob has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, with most of his time spent in the disciplines of property management and operations. Prior to joining Ronmor, Bob managed a six million square foot retail / industrial portfolio for a large real estate investment trust and has also been involved with the development and ongoing management of several state-of-the-art medical facilities in Calgary. Bob holds his CSM (Certified Shopping Centre Manager) designation as administered by the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).
Doug Porozni joined Ronmor Developers Inc. in 1998 and since joining has managed Ronmor’s acquisition, development, and operation of approximately two million square feet consisting of new retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use residential space. Doug has also increased Ronmor’s residential land holdings by more than 700 acres in the Calgary area. With Doug’s involvement, Ronmor now operates in nine different Western Canadian jurisdictions. After moving to Calgary in 1984, Doug was responsible for the land holdings of Oxford Properties Group portfolio including Eau Claire, an eight-block undeveloped parcel between the Bow River and downtown Calgary. He later left Oxford to establish the commercial division of Qualico and remained with them before being invited to join Ronmor as an equity partner. Doug currently sits on the Commercial Committee of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) of Calgary as well as the Board of Directors for the University of Calgary’s West Campus Development Trust and is frequently invited to participate in formulating public policy initiatives affecting the commercial real estate market.
Employed with Ronmor since 2007, Terry brings more than 30 years of reception and administration experience in various disciplines including oil and gas companies, legal offices, and large architectural firms. Terry demonstrates a strong understanding of file management and is also the front-line responder to tenant concerns. Responsible for greeting and assisting corporate clients, vendors, and tenants, Terry is often the first one you’ll see when you come to Ronmor!
Ron is a veteran of the construction industry with over 30 years of experience. A red-seal journeyman carpenter by trade, he has a wide variety of hands-on building experience in both residential and commercial construction. As a former home-building contractor and renovator on Vancouver Island to a commercial finishing carpenter with Lignum Interiors in Calgary, he has a thorough understanding of construction practices and procedures. Prior to coming onboard with Ronmor in April of 2012, Ron spent eight years as a Project Manager and Estimator for a commercial and residential contractor building tenant improvements and custom homes. He helps tenants navigate and coordinate their tenant build-outs and assists with the planning and implementation of Ronmor’s construction projects.
Nikki started her professional career as a paralegal and then in 2006 she started working in real estate development where she worked with both small and large scale public and private companies. Prior to joining Ronmor in October 2016, Nikki obtained her Project Management Certificate and had experience with project-based development work.
Originally from the Philippines, Bien is a technically-oriented professional with more than 15 years of experience in various industries including medical recruitment, project co-ordination, human resources, and heavy equipment operation. Joining Ronmor in 2014 as a building operator, Bien’s portfolio includes more than 200,000 square feet of office and retail space in Calgary.
Jeremy moved to Calgary in 2005 after receiving a Business Administration diploma with a major in Accounting from Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Before joining Ronmor in 2008, he worked at an oil and gas service company in various accounting roles. At Ronmor, Jeremy is a Property Accountant and has a varied portfolio of properties throughout Alberta. He is also continuing his education by working towards a CGA designation at SAIT.
Stacey has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, most of those as a site superintendent. Prior to joining Ronmor in 2016, Stacey managed commercial construction sites for new builds and major renovations. He also spent many years supervising the construction of condominiums, starter, and executive homes for some of Calgary’s top homebuilders. Stacey is a Certified Professional Site Manager through the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta as well as a Certified and Licensed Property Inspector.
Scott is an industry professional with over 20 years of experience in operations throughout the Calgary real estate market. Before joining Ronmor in 2012, Scott managed a 500,000 square foot commercial portfolio for one of the largest commercial investment firms in Canada. Scott holds both the RPA and FMA designations with BOMA Canada and is a LEED Green Associate with the CaGBC.
John started with Ronmor in 2017 and brought with him many years of experience as a general contractor. After working throughout North America as a renovation / restoration specialist, he obtained his Journeyman (Red Seal) concrete finishing ticket from SAIT Polytechnic in 2014. Though his name bears strong semblance to a popular brand of spirit with Scottish decent, John is originally from Toronto.
As VP & CFO, Stanley is responsible for financial reporting, taxation, financing, risk management and administration. Stanley is a member with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and holds a CPA certificate. His real estate career spans more than 25 years with experience in both corporate and operations. His industry calling began with a large public real estate company, Trizec Corporation, in a number of financial roles and was appointed Corporate Controller in 1993. He also spent time in the hospitality industry and facilitated the IPO for Royal Host REIT. Prior to joining Ronmor, he was the Controller at Ivanhoe Cambridge (Western Region) and responsible for the financial services of ten million square feet of retail and office space in Alberta and B.C.
